Crouching Dragonfly

The crouching position is defined by the distance the feet need to be kept apart so as to allow one leg to remain straight while the other leg bends to its ultimate capability. This is a natural constraint due to the bones of the human body and hence produces the limits to a pattern imposed upon it. The parameters exposed by this produce the field of play for movement and the patterns which can be assigned to them.

By transitioning between the left and right leg positions while using the arms to produce a Dykirkos, the Crouching Dragonfly is performed.

Crouching Condor

Because of the restricted movement that is possible while in the crouched position, it is the Looming Dragonfly which is best suited to this performance or just the Dykirkos.
